Narcotics Arrest

On April 30th, 2019 at 2:31 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's deputies conducted a traffic stop on a gray Totoya for Inoperable Headlamp on Dryden Road in the Town of Dryden.  During the course of the investigation, deputies discovered that the operator, Megan E. Walker, age 20 of Dryden NY, was operating on a suspended drivers license.  Deputies conducted further investigation due to sufficient probable cause, which resulted in the discovery of Alprazolam Pills (generic Xanax), Marihuana and other drug related items.

Deputies arrested Walker and she was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class A Misdemeanor), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Second Degree (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Inoperable Headlamp (Traffic Infraction) and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana (Violation).  Walker was released on appearance ticket ordering her to return to the Town of Dryden Court on May 20th, 2019.
