Update: Newfield House Fire

Update: On December 27th, 2017 at about 5:50 PM, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office responded to Ward Heights Trailer Park in the Town of Newfield for a reported structure fire; which resulted in two fatalities, Alton J. Hile Jr. (age 51) and Sandy Robinson (age 71).

The Sheriff's Office was assisted by Newfield Fire, Enfield Fire, Odessa Fire, State Fire Investigators, and Bangs Ambulance. This is currently a joint investigation being conducted by New York State Fire and the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office.
