Larceny Arrest

On December 17th, 2017 at about 8:00 PM, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office responded to the Tops Store located at 2300 North Triphammer Road in the Village of Lansing for a larceny complaint.  A victim reported losing her wallet inside the store.  The wallet was later recovered and turned back over to the victim by store employees. At this time, the victim noticed cash missing from the wallet.  Subsequent to an investigation, deputies determined that a suspect inside the store had removed the cash from the wallet before it was returned to the victim.

Deputies identified the suspect as MAKAYAH E LITTLE (Age 18 of Lansing).  LITTLE was charged with PETIT LARCENY, released on an appearance ticket, and is set to appear in the Town of Lansing Court on January 23rd, 2018 at 9:00 AM.
