The Road Patrol Division provides police services to the community and, as a result, is the most visible component of the Sheriff's Office. Categories of response include motor vehicle crashes, alarm activations, larceny complaints, criminal mischief, burglaries, 911 calls, etc.

Our Road Patrol covers more than 480 square miles with extreme variances in terrain, including Cayuga Lake. We are able to provide support through the use of our patrol boat, snowmobiles, and four-wheelers. These tools make it possible for us to provide emergency support in any given situation.

Road Patrol Supervisor: Lieutenant Daniel Donahue
