STOP-DWI Program Presents Annual Awards

On Friday, January 26, 2018, the Tompkins County STOP-DWI program held its annual awards ceremony at Ithaca's Hilton Garden Inn. Several members from local law enforcement agencies received awards for their commitment to keeping the community safe. The award recipients are as follows:

Award of Excellence
Officer Michael Meskill of the Ithaca Police Department
Trooper John Pensyl of the New York State Police
Trooper Jevon Pakkala of the New York State Police
Deputy Zachary Starner of the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office
Deputy Kenneth Field of the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office

Outstanding DWI Officer of the Year Award
Deputy Eric Willman of the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office

Agency Award of Excellence
The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office

Large Agency of the Year Award
The New York State Police
