The Tompkins County Health Department will be closed on Thursday,October 26, 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for staff development. The Department answering service will receive phone calls. Appropriate staff will be notified in case of emergency.

Special Election for County Legislative District 9 - Voter Registration Cut-Off Dates

Friday, January 16, 2015 is the last day for a new voter to postmark a registration form to be eligible to vote in the February 10, 2015 Special Election, 9th County Legislative District (Dryden District 3, Groton Districts 1-4, Lansing District 8).

Friday, January 30, 2015 is the last day for a new voter to register in person at the Board of Elections to be eligible to vote in the February 10, 2015 Special Election for District 9. 

Sample Ballots for the February 10 Special Election are available and can be viewed at www.votetompkins.com. Absentee ballots are available now and the absentee application can be printed from the web site, or you can stop by the Board of Elections office to apply in person.
 
Poll sites will be open February 10, 2015 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
