Legal and Financial Planning For Family Caregivers

A workshop on "Legal and Financial Planning for Family Caregivers” will be presented on Thursday, December 1 from Noon - 1:30 PM at the Tompkins County Office for the Aging, 214 W. Martin Luther King, Jr./State Street in Ithaca.

Marcie Finlay, a local elder law attorney, will address common legal and financial concerns of the elderly and their caregivers including planning for incapacity and long-term care financing.

The workshop is free and open to anyone interested in the topic. Bring your brown bag lunch if you wish. Call the Caregivers' Resource Center at the Tompkins County Office for the Aging, 274-5492, to register or for other information related to caring for elderly relatives.
