The Tompkins County Health Department will be closed today, Noon-4:30PM, for staff development. The answering service will receive phone calls.and will notify staff In case of emergency.

Highway and Bridge Closings

The County Highway Division alerts residents to the following closings:


The Highway Division will be closing the Talmadge Road Bridge, in the Town of Groton, for bridge repairs, beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, through Thursday, August 5, at approximately 4:30 p.m. The bridge will be closed to all through traffic.


The Tompkins County Highway Division will be closing Connecticut Hill Road, between Trumbulls Corners Road and Leonard Road, in the Town of Enfield, for box culvert replacement, beginning on Tuesday, July 6, at 6:00 a.m., until approximately 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 22. The section of road will be closed to all through traffic
