Health Care Career Expo Brings over 400 Young People Together to Explore Health Careers of All Kinds

This event will be held at Ithaca College, Emerson Suites, Friday October 14, 2016.

The 2016 Health Care Career Expo will bring together nearly 450 young people from throughout the Ithaca/Finger Lakes Region to explore various health care careers.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend multiple workshops and meet one on one with a variety of professionals. Workshops focus on various professional roles, high needs jobs, and how students can prepare for their future. Following the workshops students will be able to meet individually with professionals representing over 25 areas of medical careers including registered nurses, chiropractors, EMS pilots, EMT, occupational therapy, registered dieticians, pharmacists, doctors, and much more.

This event is hosted through a partnership of Cayuga Medical Center, CNY AHEC, Human Services Coalition of Tompkins County, Ithaca College, Tompkins Cortland Community College, Tompkins County Mental Health, The Tompkins County Workforce Development Board, Tompkins County Workforce New York, Tompkins County Youth Services, and TST BOCES. Sponsorship has been provided by the Computing Center, Tompkins County Area Development and the Workforce Development Institute.
