ANNOUNCEMENT: Jail Study Committee to Meet Thursday, May 111h, 5:30 p.m.

Monday, May 8, 2017

The special Jail Study Committee of the Tompkins County Legislature will meet this Thursday, May 11, 2017, beginning at 5:30 p.m., at Legislature Chambers, located in the Governor Daniel D. Tompkins Building (second floor), 121 E. Court Street, Ithaca.

Please note that this meeting is scheduled one week earlier than normal (second Thursday, rather than third Thursday of the month), and will begin at 5:30, rather than the usual start time of 5:00 p.m.

The schedule change was needed to accommodate the speaker schedule, as well as to allow for Committee members travel time from a prior event at Tompkins Cortland Community College.

Among speakers at Thursday’s meeting will be Sharon MacDougall, Tompkins County Deputy Commissioner of Mental Health Services.

The meeting agenda is available for review at the Meeting Portal on the County web site.
