Absentee Ballots Available for Village Elections

The Villages of Cayuga Heights, Dryden, Groton and Trumansburg will hold elections on Tuesday, March 16. Only registered voters living within the village boundaries are eligible to vote.

Absentee ballots for these elections are now available at the Tompkins County Board of Elections. Applications for absentee ballots may be obtained from the Board office or downloaded from votetompkins.com. Sample ballots can also be viewed online.

The last day for a new voter to register and be eligible for these elections is March 5. The last day for the Board of Elections to receive an application for an absentee ballot to be mailed to the voter is March 9, and the last day to apply in person is March 15. Polls will be open March 16 from noon until 9 p.m.
