"Powerful Tools" for Family Caregiving

Friday, March 24, 2017

The Tompkins County Office for the Aging is once again sponsoring Powerful Tools for Caregivers, a six-week educational program designed to provide the tools needed to balance self-care with caring for a parent, spouse or other loved one with a chronic illness. The program consists of six 90-minutes sessions held weekly and offered free of charge to family caregivers

The classes will be offered at two locations this spring: at the Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC) in Ithaca on six Wednesdays starting April 19 at 6:30 PM, and at Kendal at Ithaca, on six Thursdays starting May 4 at 1:00 PM. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Call The Tompkins County Office for the Aging at 274-5492 for more information or to register.
