"Powerful Tools" for Family Caregiving

The Tompkins County Office for the Aging is once again offering Powerful Tools for Caregivers, a six-week educational program designed to provide the tools needed to balance self-care with caring for a parent, spouse or other loved one with a chronic illness. This program consists of six 90 minute sessions held weekly and offered free of charge to family caregivers.

This six-week series will be offered at three locations this fall: at the Brooktondale Fire Station, starting September 14 at 3:00 PM, at Kendal at Ithaca, starting October 13 at 1:00 PM and at McGraw House in Ithaca, starting October 17 at 6:00 PM.
